Butt Hair to the Max Week #9

by Kevin McCune

A New Marshall in Town vs. I’m Thinking RB’s
Week nine led to some movement atop the Butt Hair to the Max’s leader board… and
there’s “A New Marshal in Town.” Marshall’s win and a loss by No Punt Intended
broke the tie atop the standings. Marshall didn’t get Peyton Manning’s best effort on the
season as two interceptions led to a mediocre 11.5 points, that combined with an equally
mediocre performance by Peyton’s number one man, Reggie Wayne, was made up for
by stellar scoring efforts from Jacob Tamme and Michael Turner. Jahvid Best, Rashard
Mendenhall, and Larry Fitzgerald led I’m Thinking RB’s, but Calvin’s Johnson’s one
point, and the Vikes D struggles did them in.

No Punt Intended vs. Pink (F)Lloyd

If they had played anybody else this week, No Punt Intended would still be tied with
those Marshall’s for the league’s top spot. Unfortunately for Punt, they were playing
Pink (F)Lloyd, and lost the game, and the league lead by 1.5 points. Of course let’s not
dis (F)Lloyd, they won a game that was a must win for them, and now at 4-5 overall, the
league’s top spot is only a couple games within striking distance. With Aaron Rodgers,
Ray Rice, and Peyton “The Man Did You See That,” Hillis, it didn’t really matter who
else was starting for (F)Lloyd. Rodgers, Rice, and Hillis’ big days were too much for
Punt to overcome even with big games from Ahmad Bradshaw, Greg Jennings, Hakeem
Nicks, and the Packers HUGE D.

Alec’s People Who Win vs. Haywood JaBloumi

Alec’s Peopl live up to their name in week 9, and with their second consecutive win,
they’re now one game off the league lead and currently tied with No Punt Intended for
second overall. If Alec’s Peopl had started a different defense they would have won by
more. The Pats negative one effort was made up for by Terrell “If You Do Situps Like
Me, You Never Get Old,” Owens, Adrian Peterson, and Drew Brees. For Haywood –
Philip Rivers and Adrian Foster’s big games were wasted in a loss in which the team
scored over 97 points.
