Taking Talents to South Beach Playoff Report

By Colin Thompson
1st Round Playoff Results
iShouldBe7and1 defeats Malken
It was never really close between iShouldBe7and1 and Malken which saw the former win comfortably 118.30-71.64. Four 20+ point getters were what led iShouldBe7and1 to victory. Michael Vick, Deion Branch, Ahmad Bradshaw and the Pittsburgh defense combined for 84% of their teams points (99.5 of 118.3). Malken had two of their studs let them down at the worst possible time. RB Rashard Mendenhall just couldn’t mount anything on Sunday and WR Jeremy Maclin only managed a meager 1.6 points in the loss.

LaFlammaBlanca defeats iGoodInMyOtherLeague
The hottest team in the league in LaFlammaBlanca rode perhaps the hottest player in the league to victory last weekend in Darren McFadden. Despite lackluster efforts from the rest of their team, LaFlammaBlanca had 40.4 from their star running back which propelled them to a decisive 107.04 to 87.52 win. Not everything was good news for LaFlammaBlanca as they lost their starting QB Aaron Rodgers to a concussion and his status for next week is still uncertain. iGoodInMyOtherLeague had some decent players in round 1 but was really let down by their number one star Adrian Peterson. Peterson only managed 2.6 points in what was the critical position for iGoodInMyOtherLeague to win.

Playoff Matchups Round 2
(1) Favre’s Huge Cock vs. (5) iShouldBe7and1
The top seed, Favre’s Huge Cock comes in with plenty of fire power especially at the running back position. Arian Foster and Michael Turner lead the charge but perhaps the most interesting decision this week will be whether they will play LeGarrette Blount or the incredibly hot as of late, Knowshon Moreno. iShouldBe7and1 has Michael Vick which makes them a contender every single week but they will have to figure out their tight end position with Antonio Gates and Todd Heap both hurt.

(2) Free17LetHimBallOut vs. (6) LaFlammaBlanca
Free17LetHimBallOut may have finally given up on Kyle Orton who has had two straight disappointing games but they may have to think twice about whom to replace him with. Joe Flacco has been good but Jon Kitna has arguably been better. It’s too bad LaFlammaBlanca might not get to use Aaron Rodgers at QB but they have two other solid QBs who can take his place. Josh Freeman and David Garrard are both good options but if they want to keep their hot streak going they will have to make the right decision.

Round 2 Predictions
LaFlammaBlanca defeats Free17LetHimBallOut – Even with the questions about Rodgers it won’t matter, the hot streak continues.

Favre’s Huge Cock defeats iShouldBe7and1 – Way too much firepower for the number 1 seed, they roll here.
