After ten weeks of play, we only have three more weeks left in the regular season. Let’s break down potential seeding and what teams will get the last few playoff spots.
Teams Assured a Playoff Spot
Right now, there are only two teams guaranteed playoff berths- Asstoria Brown Storm and Frank and Beans. The Storm have a two game lead right now and should finish with the number one playoff seed, but the Beans have some work to do. With two teams at 6-4, the Beans need to win out to ensure the second seed. Right now, I would give them the edge for the second just based off their players match ups and the players on their team.
Can Clinch With a Win
Both Bull Bus LA and WhoDat can clinch with wins this week. Bull Bus has a big matchup this week, facing the first place Brown Storm. With a victory will not only come a playoff spot but a victory over the best team, which is always a confidence booster. WhoDat’s matchup is much more important, however, facing the 5-5 Trailer Trashers. With a loss, the Trashers would move in front of WhoDat. They musy get a win this week to avoid two nail-biting weeks.
Traffic Jam
Here’s where things get crazy. No team in the league has a record worse than 3-7, with the bottom four teams all having that record. Now, three teams do have 5 wins, with two of those only having 4 losses due to a tie between them. Right now, I’ll give those three teams the edge because they all basically have two game leads on their competitors. With that in mind, lets break down the 8th and final seed. Right now, I would give the edge to Chachi in Charge based on four players: Tom Brady, Peyton Hillis, Arian Foster, and Jacob Tamme. Right now, all those players are top-5 players at their position in fantasy football. With players that good at this time of the year, it’s hard to keep them out of the playoffs.
