Four Teams Left to Battle for Two Spots

Heading into the final week of the regular season, six playoff spots are wrapped up, with four teams in the hunt for the final two. Last week settled things up pretty good. Here's some of the highlights (or lowlights):

-Team Money Men escaped with 79-75 win over A Lot of Talk and a Badge to keep their playoff hopes barely afloat.

-NY Mazmaniacs moved into second place with a four point victory over Team ThirdBall.

-Birch Boys and UGotBeat ByAGirl each prevailed, moving them to 5-7 and in great position to grab one of the last two playoff spots.

-Don't Come In Here's 39 point loss to Birch Boys ended their season.

-Team Redman all but secured the regular season title with a win over league doormat Deez Nunz.

Other than some jostling for seeds, there are three games with major ramifications to keep an eye on:

A Lot of Talk And a Badge (5-7) vs. Deez Nunz (3-9)

-TAAB currently sits in 7th place thanks to a 14 point lead advantage over UGotBeat ByAGirl. A win secures a berth in the playoffs, but a loss doesn't necessarily end TAAB's chances -- they own at least a 77 point lead over the other 5-7 teams. 

PREDICTION: TAAB has a strong squad, and a better record than Deez Nunz, but Mike Vick facing Houston will be the difference maker in a Nunz upset.

Team MoneyMen (5-7) vs Morgan Dollar (7-5)

-The MoneyMen aren't in such a good position. They sit 10th in the standings thanks to a league-low 882 points scored, and have to face the 7-5 Morgan Dollar. If Carson Palmer can buck the odds and lead TMM to a victory, they'll need a loss by A Lot of Talk to advance. Like I said, not a great position to be in.

PREDICTION: Tom Brady and Arian Foster will be too strong for MoneyMen's Bengals reliant squad.

Birch Boys (5-7) vs UGotBeat ByAGirl (5-7)

-UGotBeat ByAGirl holds the 8th and final playoff by virtue of a 63 point lead over Birch Boys. Whoever wins guarantees themselves a playoff spot, but the loser could still make it in if things fell the right way. BeatByAGirl would need TAAB and TMM to lose, and they would need to outscore TAAB by 15 points this week. Birch Boys could get in with a loss, but only if TAAB and TMM lost, and Birch Boys outscored TAAB by 78.

PREDICTION: The matchups strongly favor UGotBeat ByAGirl.
